| Top News Eaton Corp received an equipment contract from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for up to 10 years, valued at more than $40 million. The contract, one of three FAA deals currently held by Eaton, has a base period of two years and four additional two-year options. The agreement calls for Eaton to provide power supply equipment that will be deployed in mission-critical FAA installations throughout the U.S., Guam and Puerto Rico. "Eaton is gratified that our equipment, our training and our services have been evaluated by the FAA, which is responsible for the safety of civil aviation, and were chosen over our competitors," said Randy Carson, chief executive officer, Eaton’s Electrical Group. "As a result, Eaton will be helping to keep millions of passengers safe in the skies."
