VCP-TR Fixed Medium Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breakers

Designed for use where space is at a premium, the VCP-TR is ideal for applications such as mine power centers, portable power substations, fixed
breaker switchgear and portable generators. These space-saving breakers are 60% smaller than comparable breakers and 50% lighter too. The simplified design and easy installation of VCP-TR breakers helped Weyerhaeuser replace their current limiting fuses, as noted in this case study. VCP-TR circuit breakers utilize vacuum interrupters for interruption and switching functions.

Vacuum interruption offers the advantages of enclosed interrupters, reduced size and weight, short interrupting time, long life, reduced maintenance, and environmental compatibility.

Are all Low Voltage Motor Control Centers Created Equal? Not Exactly!

If you have spent any time at all reading through the National Fire Protection Agency Standard 70E "Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace" you already know that arc-flash hazards present a very real danger to anyone working on or near energized equipment. The problem we see is that most every solution available today is of a "retrofit" nature - identify/quantify the hazard, then determine what protective clothing is necessary to minimize the risk. The final frontier in arc flash safety is FlashGard low voltage motor control center. Learn how Eaton is leading the way with our recent breakthrough development of the Cutler-Hammer FlashGard low voltage motor control center - our newest product designed to remove the risk of arc-flash exposure.
